Special Interest Sections (SIS)

The purpose of MiOTA‘s Special Interest Sections (SIS) is to provide clinicians with information and resources to support current best practice and emerging practice within a specified area. Each SIS hosts in-person or virtual meetings to provide an opportunity for networking, sharing of information, advocacy, and continuing education.

SIS Leaders serve as a contact liaison with MiOTA leadership. SIS Members include OTs, OTAs or OT students who are current members of MiOTA. Click here for a full description of SIS Leader responsibilities.

The Networking Committee supports and coordinates special interest sections (SIS), specialty focus groups and regional chapters that are interested in exchanging, gaining or exploring information regarding clinical practice, education and research.
