Michigan Occupational Therapy Association

Regional Chapters

The purpose of MiOTA Chapters is to provide clinicians with a local connection to the association at large. The chapter leader hosts in-person or virtual meetings to provide members with information on current topics relevant to the profession, promote professional networking among peers, and disseminate information from the MiOTA governing structure.

Chapter Leaders serve as a contact liaison with MiOTA leadership. Chapter members include OTs, OTAs or OT students who are current members of MiOTA. Click here for a full description of Chapter Leader responsibilities. We have several chapter leader vacancies currently, if you're interested in serving as a Chapter Leader, please contact Holly Grieves for more information.

The Networking Committee supports and coordinates special interest sections (SIS), specialty focus groups and regional chapters that are interested in exchanging, gaining or exploring information regarding clinical practice, education and research.
