Regional SIS's
The purpose of MiOTA SIS's (formerly Chapters) is to provide clinicians with a local connection to the association at large. The chapter leader hosts in-person or virtual meetings to provide members with information on current topics relevant to the profession, promote professional networking among peers, and disseminate information from the MiOTA governing structure.
Regional SIS Leaders serve as a contact liaison with MiOTA leadership. Regional SIS members include OTs, OTAs or OT students who are current members of MiOTA. Click here for a full description of Regional SIS Leader responsibilities. We have several chapter leader vacancies currently, if you're interested in serving as a Regional SIS Leader, please contact Holly Grieves for more information.
The Networking Committee supports and coordinates special interest sections (SIS), specialty focus groups and regional SIS's that are interested in exchanging, gaining or exploring information regarding clinical practice, education and research.
