Lansing Regional SIS

The Lansing Regional SIS of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association provides clinicians with a local connection to the association at large. The Regional SIS hosts quarterly local meetings to provide members with current topics relevant to the profession as well as disseminate information from the MiOTA governing structure.

One (1) professional development unit (PDU) will be awarded to active MiOTA members in attendance. The certificate will be emailed to all attendees.

Guests are always welcome to see what MiOTA is about at the local level; however, after one free visit we request that you become a member in order to continue attending the Regional SIS meetings. We hope that you like what you see and want to join. Membership forms will be available at the meeting.

Courtney Connelly, OTRL, CHT, CSRS

Courtney is an Occupational Therapist working for UMH Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She loves working full-time on the hospital’s float team, working all clinical sites including: outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neurology, acute care, long-term acute care, geriatric psychology, & inpatient rehabilitation. Courtney is a Certified Hand Therapist as well as a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist. She would tell you that the best part of her job is maintaining a copious list of hilarious patient quotes that would make a pretty great book one day. Courtney also loves learning from her patients, while partnering with them to achieve their goals


Robin Kustasz, OTRL, CHT

Robin has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 1995. She provides individualized care while using manual therapy and splinting techniques. She empowers her patients by educating them about their diagnosis and recovery process. Robin also shares her expertise locally by serving as a clinical instructor for occupational therapy students and internationally by volunteering with the Touching Hands Project.
