The Michigan Occupational Therapy Association (MiOTA) invites you to submit an application using the Call for Papers form for the 2020 Annual Fall Conference.

Conference Objectives:

By participating in MiOTA's Annual Fall Conference, speakers will:

1. Expand knowledge of peers in Michigan relative to the topic of submission to advance service delivery to prospective patient population(s).
2. Earn continuing education credit for the maintenance of licensure and/or NBCOT credentials.
3. Disseminate latest research findings in technological, medical, and psychosocial advances associated with Occupational Therapy service delivery.  
4. Increase collaboration and networking throughout the state of Michigan among therapists with common interests of patient populations and intervention methods.

The conference committee is accepting applications on a variety of topics related to occupational therapy practice in Michigan. The conference committee has special interest in the following topics:

    i. Community and health
    ii. Policy changes (Medicare, etc.)
    iii. Productive aging and aging in place
    iv. Mental health
    v. Rehab disability
    vi. Documentation/reimbursement
    vii. Licensure: Pain and Human Trafficking

Please submit the Call for Papers fillable form via email to website@miota.org.
The deadline the Call for Papers form submission is April 15th, 2020. EXTENDED through May 1st.
